STORY
The Ottoman-Greek War of 1897 (also known as the Thirty-Day War) was a war that took place between the Ottoman Empire and the Kingdom of Greece in 1897. The battle, which lasted about a month, resulted in the decisive victory of the Ottoman army. The order of merit was decorated, which would reward the soldiers of the Ottoman army who returned victorious from this battle for their courage and heroism in battle. This medal in our museum is one of those order of merits.
