DEFINITION
It is an unused shell casing of a field artillery shell produced by the German army on the orders of the Ottoman army in World War I.

DESCRIPTION
The casing has become very rusty over time. The plug (adjustable head) on the end part of the bullet is not available. There is a dispatch circle on the back part of the cannonball. There is no writing or marking on it.
STORY
It is the name of the 7 cm FK 96 nA (7.7 cm FK 96 n.A.) model of the Ottoman Empire used during the World War I period. This wheeled field gun has a diameter of 70 mm and a length of 271 mm and has served in important battles such as the Dardanelles War and the Middle East Front. This cannon, which has an effective range thanks to its mobility and easy operation, was updated with modifications later in the war and continued to be used. It played an important role in the artillery units of the Ottoman Empire and became of historical importance.
