STORY
It is known that the Turkish people have given importance to cleanliness since ancient times. Cleaning supplies were available in almost every house according to the conditions of the period of possible order, no matter what class of society they were from. This artifact is also one of the containers used for cleaning purposes. Before or after a meal, one of the house people would hold water in the hand in front of the guest, a towel or cloth on his shoulder and a basin under the hand in the other hand and let the guest wash his hands. This tradition was applied to the elders in the house without guests.
