STORY
Ottoman Red Crescent Association (Hilal-i Ahmer) was founded in 1868 in Istanbul during the Ottoman Empire. Hilal-i Ahmer is the former name of the Turkish Red Crescent and its current name is the Turkish Red Crescent. The Turkish Red Crescent is a humanitarian organization that provides assistance in emergency situations such as natural disasters and humanitarian crises in Turkey.
The Turkish Red Crescent also provides support to soldiers through the Army Health Department within its structure. One of these supports is the meal kits distributed to the soldiers. These meal kits are designed for the needs of soldiers to eat in the field.
